On a spring night in 2013, three friends in Taichung decided to run together. That single spontaneous outing became the spark for Run3+ Crew, named for the founders and their vision of expanding outward. What began as friendship quickly spread like cells dividing, drawing more runners into their orbit. Today, the crew's motto captures its essence: Run for life. Run for love. Run for lovely. Run3+ embodies Taichung's organic running culture, where diverse backgrounds and active lifestyles converge through weekly group runs and the city's strong tradition of pǎotuán (跑團), formal running collectives that weave through the city's social fabric. The crew welcomes everyone, from locals to visitors, to explore routes ranging from the challenging hills of Taichung Metropolitan Park to the cultural calm of the Calligraphy Greenway. With roughly a few hundred active members and growing, Run3+ represents the power of a simple idea: that running binds people through genuine friendship.
