In January 2015, a group of designers in Kobe decided running should feel less like training and more like a party. They founded SRC Run Crew to build something rare: a community where running, music, fashion, and design lived together. The "Run Party Party" philosophy isn't just a slogan, it's the crew's identity. Monthly night runs follow flexible routes chosen on the fly, keeping things spontaneous and alive. Runners meet anyone who can handle at least 5K and shares the crew's vision of urban running as a form of celebration. SRC has become a defining force in Kobe's running scene, weaving together the city's cosmopolitan waterfront, historic districts like Kitano-cho, and the Rokko mountain trails into a landscape where the streets feel less like a course and more like a shared stage.
