Donut Runners

In Taiwanese running culture, a perfect circular GPS trace is called a donut. Donut Runners took that name and made it a philosophy. Founded in May 2025 by Sean, the Taipei crew holds a deliberate contradiction: fried dough is the antithesis of training, yet the donut is also the circle traced by a lap session, earned by discipline and completed by coffee and brunch. The crew operates around one slogan that shapes every session: Every Pace Counts. Tuesday evenings at 18:30 belong to the Speed Run, fast-paced and interval-focused. Saturday mornings at 07:00 belong to the Social Run, short and easy, built for conversation. The crew numbers around ten members, deliberately small and members-only, because intimacy is not a limitation but the current shape of something still finding form. No pace group is treated as the benchmark. No story is worth less because the runner is slower. Post-run coffee and brunch are as much the crew's signature as the running itself.
